Me: I hope I made him cry with my last message I’ll ever send him then both of us can pretend like neither of us exists.
Do you think I made James cry?
Roomie: I bet you did, I bet you did.
Me: If some girl you knew you really liked who liked you back, but it could never be with too many things standing in the way, wouldn’t that message about guess it never was meant to be make you cry?
Roomie: Depends on the girl, and yes it would make me cry if it was from someone I really liked, too, but could never be with.
Me: I think that was an appropriate last message to send.
Roomie: It’s so over done, though.
Me: Oh well, it fits this situation perfectly.
P.S. I don’t care if I made him feel like shit while he’s on vacation with his girlfriend, he’s never going to see me again and she can have him all to herself. I hope it did make him feel like shit and if we have the same train of thoughts, then I suspect it did, especially when I was nice enough to tell his work that I don’t want him to get into trouble with his conduct with me there, although he really should have been suspended or something for it…he STILL flirted with me after he made that speech about being “in love” with his girlfriend a day before, and he STILL flirted with me after I gave him the first note. Really, flirting with me while everyone knew he has a girlfriend he should have been punished for that by his girlfriend and work, but I’m just passing through so I let it go. That’s up to his girlfriend if she wants that to affect their relationship over a person that doesn’t exist in his life anymore.
